O.K., so perhaps my last post was not the best way to bring people together. Therefore, I thought I would try once more (as long as Ironriots is happy for me to do so - seriously, if you find that my presence is getting to much on your group just tell me to shut up and I won't mind at all) and try and launch a discussion based on everyone's favourite Marvel moments, the ones that really moved you emotionally, from the comics, movies, TV or cartoons :D !

For me there are tons of such moments but if I had to pick just one then I think it was when Magneto brought Kitty home from space in the giant Breakworld bullet. For me, there was something magic about this, about the sheer effort and sacrifice from Magneto to drag a huge piece of metal through space, the gathering of a family to welcome home their lost daughter, the ending of Kitty's hideous, heroic, seemingly eternal odyssey through the stars trying to prevent a cosmic disaster and the ultimate reward of returning home, yet with the sharply sad sting that something was still wrong because she was stuck in an intangible form. Everything worked for me here and it was enhanced even more by Whilce Portacio's stunning artwork and a terrific piece of scripting by Matt Fraction.

But that's just my fave, what's yours?

Watching Thor and Loki fight. Period.

Death of Human Torch and his holographic will to Spiderman. :'(

The Civil War - I hated seeing the heroes against each other.
